M42 is a seven-storey mixed-use development on Mort Street in the heart of Braddon, delivered by Core Developments. The building has 68 apartments above two levels of commercial tenancies, with three basement levels of parking and a rooftop terrace for residents. It adds to Braddon's shift from light-industrial precinct to a vibrant inner-city residential hub.
CPS was engaged by Core Developments to pump, place and finish the concrete structure at M42. Our crews worked from the three-level basement up through the commercial podium and the apartment levels to the rooftop terrace. Braddon is a busy inner-city site, so pump positioning, pour scheduling and traffic coordination along Mort Street had to be planned carefully to keep the program moving and disruption to a minimum.
Our finishing teams produced consistent, high-quality slab surfaces across the basement, commercial and residential levels. The project reflects CPS’s long-standing relationships with Canberra builders and our ability to deliver reliable concrete outcomes on complex mixed-use developments.
