Embark is the first stage of the Northbourne Village precinct in Lyneham, delivered by Icon for JWLand. The project comprises 172 apartments and four commercial suites across a multi-storey building, with basement parking and a mix of one, two and three-bedroom configurations. Backing onto Northbourne Avenue with street access from Owen Crescent, Embark sits within easy reach of the light rail, Dickson and Lonsdale Street, and forms the opening stage of a wider masterplanned precinct.
CPS worked with Icon on concrete placement at Embark, the opening stage of the Northbourne Village precinct. Our crews delivered the basement, ground floor and suspended slabs across the residential and commercial levels, holding a steady floor cycle on a program that ran from foundations out of the ground to practical completion inside eighteen months.
The site sits on a constrained inner-north block between Owen Crescent and Northbourne Avenue, with heritage buildings and protected trees retained alongside the works, so access, pump positioning and pour sequencing were planned carefully around them. CPS’s finishing teams delivered consistent, high-quality slab surfaces ready for fit-out, helping Icon and JWLand deliver 172 new apartments on program.
