Canberra Airport Multi-User Terminal - Construction Control

The Multi-User Terminal Redevelopment (MUTR) was a 25M redevelopment of the existing terminal precinct at Canberra Airport. The work included a new 50,000m² terminal, two 38,000m² car parks with office accommodation on the top levels, a central elevated road, road network infrastructure and upgraded aprons and taxiways for servicing aircraft.

Canberra Hospital Car Park - Hindmarsh Constructions Australia

The Canberra Hospital Car Park, a 43.1M project constructed for ACT Government Health, is an open-deck, post-tensioned, concrete car park structure with eight levels. It provides approximately 1800 parking spaces, including over 100 disabled parking spaces and is designed to be a post-earthquake disaster facility.

Canberra Region Cancer Centre -
Iqon Pty Ltd

The Capital Region Cancer Centre (CRCC), with a contract value of $45M, has an approximate ground floor area of 6,850m2 over five levels. It includes an ambulatory care clinic, day therapy centre, research facilities, community meeting spaces and accommodation for clinical administration, patient information & support services.

The Centenary Hospital for Women and Children - Leighton Contractors

The new Centenary Hospital for Women and Children, on the campus of Canberra Hospital, had a $111M budget. The new building measures 15,000m² over 3 levels. It is a conventional, reinforced concrete structure with a basement designed to link with another basement in the future.

National Arboretum - Project Coordination

The project is a $12M, award-winning building. The main space features dramatic, engineered timber structures. These structures are curved, laminated hardwood beams up to 56m long with varying radii. A curved glass roof interlaces with a zinc roof, forming a central feature of the entry and high activity areas.

Playground at the Centenary Hospital for Women & Children -
George Gregan Foundation

One of our favourite projects, CPS Concrete Group & Leighton Contractors collaborated with the foundation to donate our services. The result was a unique, fun jungle/Australiana themed play space.

Gungahlin Grandstand - Iqon Pty Ltd

The edifice is a $6.5M project built on the western side of the Gungahlin oval. The Grandstand provides covered seating for 580 people and additional open seating for 850. It also provides four team change rooms, two officials’ change rooms, public toilets, a first aid room, kiosk and a club room with storage facilities.

John Paul College -
Richard Crookes Constructions

CPS Concrete Group & CPS Concrete Pumping handled construction of a $24M, two story secondary college facility in Gungahlin, measuring 8000m2. This project commenced for Richard Crookes in 2013, and upon completion, we have now commenced stage two.

7 London Circuit - Thiess Pty Ltd

This project, worth $70M, is located in the western development precinct of Civic. Construction of the six-storey, ‘A’ Grade commercial structure comprises two buildings with a shared internal atrium and through-site link. The project included two levels of underground car parking, bicycle parking spaces and plant. The finished gross floor area measures 20,000m2.
